One Year Old and full of fun!

Last week, an adorable little girl came in for her first year portrait.



She was cute and full of charm and fun!


























Not only did we get great images of her in her pretty white dress and with her mom, we also had fun looking at her fingers and toes!









Like her big sister and two big brothers, who also came in at this age, she has a big smile and a fun personality.












She was just learning to walk when she came in and took a few steps for us at the very end.

What an exciting time for her!

Congratulations to Madey and Steve who were married last Saturday in Marblehead.

It was a little too rainy after the service for the planned boat ride from the church to the reception, so they took cars, instead. I love the colorful umbrellas; they're so cheery and fun!































Madey is a designer and her experienced and artistic eye were evident in all the details.










These beautiful votive candles illuminated their guest signing book and the framed photographs from their engagement session.

Bernese Mountain Dog Portrait

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Cody and Basel, two very handsome Bernese Mountain Dogs. They had just been groomed and were extremely fluffy and absolutely gorgeous - quite ready for their portrait session!

Wee Little One

This charming 4 week old came to the studio yesterday for his first professional photo session. What cute expressions and sweet demeanor. What a sweet little boy!

Fashion and Fun Photo Session

I had the pleasure of photographing a really fun and fashionable girl last week in the studio. She brought lots of clothes and accessories and mixed and matched with my colorful backdrops. It was a blast and we got some amazing images of her (and her hamster, Oreo, too!).

Check out the beautiful photos, great colors and the fun frame it's in, too. Our studio is now offering additional frames from a new framing company. They have lots of colors and styles to choose from, and can even custom-match the paint in your house (if you provide them with manufacturer's name and color id!). So many possibilities and so much FUN!

Beautiful Baby Boy

What a beautiful baby I photographed last week! At 6 months old, he was full of charm - and reminded me of his older brother and sister, who I also photographed at this age.

What an inspiring weekend!

The Professional Photographers of Massachusetts just finished up their annual 4-day convention, jam-packed with a print competition, great speakers, and lots of time to talk with fellow photographers and get new ideas for the coming year. I feel inspired to try some new techniques and am also happy to report that the prints I entered in the competition all won awards, including one blue and three red ribbons!
