Playdate Cards Now Available!

I'm happy and excited to now offer Playdate Cards!

These 2 x 3.5" cards will be immensely helpful to busy moms in arranging playdates.

Have you ever wanted to jot down another mom's information at the playground and haven't had a pen or paper available?

Now you can just hand out your playdate card! Featuring a photo of your child on the front and your contact information on the back, they are customizable in terms of colors, fonts, and choice of text.

If your images are currently posted on my website, you will see that the playdate cards have been added to the storefront.

If you no longer have your session posted on-line, please contact me for more information.

Let me know what you think of these! Thanks!

Photo Session in Woodland Garden

Today was absolutely beautiful.

After two hot days, with temps in the 80s-90s, it was finally more springlike and I had the pleasure of spending this morning walking around a woodland garden with a 3.5 year old girl.

We enjoyed looking at the flowers, sitting on rocks, and skipping down the trails.

At the pond, we were pleasantly surprised to see Mother Mallard sitting on her nest, which was lined with downy feathers.

There was also a band of turtles warming themselves on the edge of the water. All in all, it was an absolutely lovely way to spend the morning!

3 month old as charming as can be

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of photographing a most charming 3 month old girl. She came in sound asleep in her baby carrier so we decided to move her to the bassinet on the set to try to get some sleeping baby photos.

She woke up (of course!!) and, within a minute, we decided she had no intention of falling back asleep. She was smiling at her Mom so we went to work right away. Some of her best expressions were when she was cooing with her Mom. Mom would come up close for a tickle or a laugh and then pull back. The baby laughed and just loved the fun interactions.

These are some of my favorite images!

90th Birthday Party Family Portrait

What a wonderful way to celebrate someone's 90th birthday! This family gathered at their childhood home to celebrate their dad's birthday. The cold and rainy weather forced us inside but we were able to position all 31 family members on and around the stairs with no problems.

While waiting for all family members to arrive, we photographed the various subgroups - the children and grandchildren of the guest of honor.

Local church open-house

On April 4, I had the pleasure of taking some portraits of local children at the Trinitarian Congregational church in Wayland. They had an open house to celebrate their recent (huge and beautiful!) renovation and they had lots of fun activities throughout the building, including the opportunity to have a portrait taken by me! I met lots of wonderful families and photographed some pretty cute kids!

What a cutie!!!

Wow. What a great photo session this week! The cutest 7 month old came in for her portrait and was such a delight.

My favorite photo from the session has to be this one with the girl's pink jacket on. The blue trim picks up the baby's lovely blue eyes. What fun!

She wore two different outfits and we took some diaper shots during the clothing change. Check out those cute little toes and her adorable expression!

I really enjoyed photographing her with her Mom, too. Both Mom and baby's expressions are wonderful and I love how their arms and hands are holding one another. I also love how the baby is grasping the fabric of Mom's cowl-neck shirt... so sweet and gentle.
